Zirconium
The substructure of the porcelain crowns is made of zirconium material. Zirconium material is white in colour and has a strong resistance. Thanks to its high resistance, it can be used safely on both anterior and posterior teeth.
Zirconium eliminates the disadvantages of metal materials. Thanks to its natural white colour, it provides a good harmony with other teeth.
Since it does not contain metals, it does not cause bad odour in the mouth and does not affect the sense of taste.
Sensitivity may occur in hot and cold temperatures due to the property of metals to conduct heat. Since conductivity is low in zirconium, such sensitivity does not occur.
Gingival discolouration that appears in metal-supported crowns is not encountered in zirconium crowns. It is more compatible with the gums and tissue-friendly.
